Bal Vikas Prakalp Ahilyanagar (ICDS) Anganwadi Madatnis Recruitment 2026 - 14 Posts
The Bal Vikas Prakalp Adhikari (Nagari), Ahilyanagar Shahar office, under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme, has released a notification for 14 Anganwadi Madatnis (Helper) vacancies across Anganwadi centers within Ahilyanagar Municipal Corporation limits. These posts are filled by direct nomination on a consolidated monthly honorarium basis, following Maharashtra Government Resolution No. AWABI-2022/Pra.Kra.94/Ka-6 dated 2 February 2023, which governs how merit points are calculated from your certificates. Candidates must be women residing locally in the same city/ward as the Anganwadi center they apply for. Some centers additionally require knowledge of Hindi, since more than half the children there speak Hindi rather than Marathi. Once selected, your posting is fixed to that Anganwadi center — no transfer to another center is allowed, and no travel allowance is paid for commuting.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: Minimum 12th standard pass. If you hold a higher qualification, you must have passed Marathi as a subject in at least one qualification from 12th onwards.
- Gender: Only female candidates can apply
- Residency: You must be a local resident of the same city/ward as the Anganwadi center you are applying for
- Language: Marathi is compulsory for all applicants. Hindi (read and write) is also compulsory for centers where over 50% of children speak Hindi
- Small Family Norm: You should not have more than 2 living children, including adopted children
- Reserved Category: Backward category candidates must attach a caste certificate from a competent authority
- Preferred: D.Ed, B.Ed, or MS-CIT/computer certificate holders get extra merit points
- Experience: 2 years as Anganwadi Sevika/Mini Anganwadi Sevika/Anganwadi Madatnis earns extra merit points, though it is not mandatory
- Note: Experience gained at a privately run or NGO-managed Anganwadi center will not be counted for these merit points
Age Limit
- You should be between 18 and 35 years old as on 22 July 2026.
- Widowed candidates can apply up to 40 years of age.
Salary
Anganwadi Madatnis is a honorarium-based post rather than a regular pay-scale government job, so you will not get benefits like promotion, transfer, or pension that apply to permanent employees.
- Selected candidates will get a consolidated honorarium of Rs. 7,500 per month.
- No other allowance is payable besides this honorarium, as per government rules, though the honorarium amount is revised periodically as per government orders.
Selection Process (No Written Exam or Interview)
Selection is entirely merit-based:
- Merit List: Points are awarded based on your marks in 12th/graduation/post-graduation/D.Ed/B.Ed/computer certificates, along with extra points for experience, widow/orphan status, and reserved category.
- Objection Window: If you have an objection to the provisional merit list, you can file a written complaint within 10 days to the Bal Vikas Prakalp Adhikari office.
- Final Merit List: Published after reviewing all objections.
- Waiting List: Maintained for one year from the result date, used if a selected candidate does not join within 30 days.
If you disagree with the final selection, you can appeal to the Divisional Deputy Commissioner, Women & Child Development, Nashik Division, within 30 days of the selection list being announced. If you are still not satisfied, you can further appeal to the Commissioner, Integrated Child Development Services, Maharashtra State, Navi Mumbai, within the next 60 days.
How to Apply

- Get the prescribed application form from the official notification.
- Fill in your personal and educational details, clearly mentioning the city and post you are applying for.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of all required certificates.
- Submit the form in person at Bal Vikas Prakalp Adhikari Office, Nagari Ahilyanagar Shahar, Vedant Colony, near Dr. Satalkar Hospital, Delhi Gate, Ahilyanagar - 414001.
