ACTREC (Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer), part of the Tata Memorial Centre, is hiring for Senior Resident and 01 Year TMC Fellowship posts in the Anaesthesia & Critical Care and Pain department at its Kharghar, Navi Mumbai campus. Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) - ACTREC has released a revised advertisement (TMC-ACTREC/ADVT-129/2026) for a Senior Resident post in Anaesthesia & Critical Care and Pain, along with four One-Year TMC Fellowships covering Onco Critical Care, Onco Anaesthesia and Pain, Onco Anaesthesia Critical Care and Pain, and Gastrointestinal & Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Anaesthesia. These are tenured (non-permanent) positions starting from 1 August 2026. Doctors with an MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Chest Medicine can find a matching fellowship here. Appointed candidates may be posted at either ACTREC, Kharghar or Tata Memorial Hospital, depending on departmental requirements at the time of joining.

Who Can Apply?

Senior Resident - Anaesthesia & Critical Care and Pain:

• Qualification: MD/DNB (Anaesthesiology) or an equivalent PG degree.

01 Year TMC Fellowship in Onco Critical Care:

• Qualification: MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Chest Medicine.

01 Year TMC Fellowship in Onco Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Pain:

• Qualification: MD (Anaesthesiology) or an equivalent PG degree.

01 Year TMC Fellowship in Onco Anaesthesia and Pain / Gastrointestinal and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Anaesthesia:

• Qualification: MD/DNB (Anaesthesiology) or an equivalent PG degree — check the official notification for the exact fellowship-wise criteria.

All degrees must be recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). If you completed your MCh/DM/DNB/MS/MD from a Government or Municipal Medical College in Maharashtra, this Senior Resident post counts towards your PG Bond service, as per the applicable Maharashtra government resolution. Merely meeting the qualification criteria does not guarantee a call for the MCQ/interview — ACTREC/TMC decides the cut-off and shortlisting criteria at its discretion.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 40 years old, with age and experience reckoned as on 31 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.
• Have your date of birth proof and category certificate ready to upload during the online application.

Salary

• Senior Resident (MS/MD/DNB): Rs. 1,33,623 per month (gross consolidated pay).
• 01 Year TMC Fellowship (M.Ch/DM/DrNB): Rs. 1,45,530 per month (gross consolidated pay).

Application Fee

• All Categories: Rs. 1,000, payable online via Debit Card, Credit Card or UPI. There is no separate concession for reserved categories mentioned in the notification.
• The fee is non-refundable once paid, so check your eligibility carefully before you pay.
• Duplicate fee payments for the same post will not be refunded, so pay only once per application.

Selection Process

Selection is done in up to two stages:

1. MCQ Test: Conducted only if the number of applicants is more than 3 times the number of posts advertised for that discipline. If fewer applications are received, the MCQ round is skipped.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for a final interview.

The Director, Tata Memorial Centre, has full discretion to decide the qualifying marks and the number of candidates called for interview, group/stream/discipline-wise, and this decision is final.

No TA/DA is paid for attending the MCQ or interview. ACTREC/TMC reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standards, cut-off marks, and the number of candidates called for each stage. If a discipline gets result-awaited applicants, they must declare their degree passing on the day of the MCQ/VIVA — those who fail to do so will not be allowed to appear.

3. Upload the required documents, including an NOC from your employer if you currently work in a government, PSU or autonomous body.

5. Submit the form before 14 July 2026, 5:30 PM. Apply separately for each post you want to be considered for.
6. Watch actrec.gov.in (jobs section) for the shortlist of candidates called for the MCQ/VIVA.
