Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), a unit of Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), is hiring 1 candidate for the TMC Advanced Clinical Fellowship in Onco-Physiotherapy. If you have a BPT or MPT degree, you can attend the walk-in interview at ACTREC, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The interview is on 14 July 2026, between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. ACTREC (Tata Memorial Centre) Onco-Physiotherapy Fellowship Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

ACTREC, a Grant-in-Aid Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has announced a walk-in interview under Advt. No. Advt/131/2026 for 1 seat in the TMC Advanced Clinical Fellowship in Onco-Physiotherapy. This is a one-year programme — six months of training followed by six months of internship — designed for physiotherapists who want specialised experience in cancer care. Selected non-sponsored candidates will also serve a 6-month service bond with Tata Memorial Centre after completing the training, on a consolidated remuneration. As a national cancer research and treatment institute, ACTREC uses this fellowship route to build a pipeline of specialist onco-physiotherapists trained in-house.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a BPT (Bachelor in Physiotherapy) or MPT (Master in Physiotherapy), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized Indian institution.
• You must be registered with the relevant professional body.
• You should be proficient in reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Hepatitis B vaccination must be completed before joining.
• You must produce your original qualification certificates at the time of the interview.
• Candidates already working in Central/State Government, Autonomous Bodies, Semi-Government Organizations, or PSUs must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 35 years old as on the last date of the advertisement.
• Age Relaxation: Available for sponsored candidates and SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.

Salary

• During training, BPT candidates get a stipend of Rs. 12,000 per month and MPT candidates get Rs. 15,000 per month.
• After training, selected non-sponsored candidates serving the service bond get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 15,000 per month (BPT) or Rs. 18,000 per month (MPT) for 6 months.
• Accommodation is provided, subject to availability.
• If you fail to complete the training or the internship, you will need to repay the stipend and salary received during that period, along with interest, to the Institute.

Application Fee

• Course Fee: Rs. 12,000 + GST, payable by selected candidates.
• A security deposit of Rs. 5,000 must be paid at the time of joining. If you fail to complete the full one-year course, this deposit and the stipend paid will be adjusted against dues, with the deposit forfeited if applicable. It is refunded without interest only on completing the course.

Selection Process (Walk-In Interview)

There is no separate written exam date announced in advance — you attend directly on the walk-in day:

1. Document Screening: ACTREC may set minimum eligibility standards or cut-off marks based on the number of candidates and vacancies.
2. MCQ Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an MCQ test and/or interview on the walk-in day.

Merely meeting the prescribed qualifications does not guarantee a call for interview — ACTREC reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standards and cut-off marks while shortlisting candidates. The decision of Tata Memorial Centre in this regard is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained.

2. Carry your recent CV.
3. Carry original and photocopies of all educational certificates and testimonials.
4. Carry a recent passport-size photograph.
5. Carry your Aadhar Card as ID proof.

During the training and internship period, you cannot apply for any other post, course, scholarship, or examination outside without the Centre's permission.
