Central University of Odisha, established under the Act of Parliament 2009 and located at Sunabeda, Koraput, has invited applications for 2 Guest Faculty posts in Statistics for the Monsoon Semester (2026-27) through a walk-in interview. There is no written exam — selection is based only on your performance in the interview. This is a good short-term teaching opportunity if you have cleared NET/SLET/SET or hold a Ph.D. in Statistics or a related subject.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in Statistics or a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Additional Requirement: You must have cleared NET conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or hold a Ph.D., or have cleared an equivalent test like SLET/SET accredited by the UGC.

Salary

• You will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month.
• Guest Faculty do not get the allowances, pension, gratuity or leave benefits given to regular teachers.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Your selection is based only on your performance in the walk-in interview — there is no written test for this post.
