Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) Senior Resident Recruitment 2026

ACTREC is a Grant-in-Aid institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, and works as the research and academic arm of the Tata Memorial Centre — one of India's leading cancer treatment and research institutions. Through Advertisement No. ACTREC/Advt-132/2026 dated 14 July 2026, ACTREC has opened a Senior Resident post in the Department of Surgical Oncology, specifically for Head & Neck Surgery and Oral Oncology. This is a one-year fellowship position starting from 1 August 2026, and hostel accommodation is available on campus, subject to availability. There is no written exam — the entire selection is based on a walk-in interview and document check, so you can apply directly with your certificates. This fellowship gives you focused surgical exposure in a high-volume cancer center, working alongside senior oncosurgeons on complex head and neck and oral cancer cases.

Who Can Apply?

As a Senior Resident, you will work closely with the Surgical Oncology team on head and neck cancer and oral oncology cases — a good fit if you want hands-on exposure to cancer surgery at one of India's top oncology centers.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 40 years old as on the advertisement date (14 July 2026).
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disabilities.

Salary

• Selected candidates get a consolidated salary of Rs. 1,33,623 to Rs. 1,45,530 per month, depending on your experience.
• The position runs for one year, starting 1 August 2026.
• Hostel accommodation is available on campus, subject to availability.
• You will need to pay a Security/Caution Deposit of Rs. 1,33,623 at the time of joining — or it will be deducted from your salary in five equal monthly installments. This deposit is refunded without interest once you complete the one-year term. If you resign after completing at least 5 months' service with one month's notice (6 months total), you remain eligible for the refund; leaving without notice forfeits your last month's salary.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

ACTREC selects Senior Residents purely through a walk-in interview — there is no written test:
