Tata Memorial Centre ACTREC is hiring an ICU/OT Technician on a contract basis at its campus in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. ACTREC ICU/OT Technician Recruitment 2026

The Advanced Centre for Treatment Research & Education in Cancer (ACTREC), the R&D wing of the Tata Memorial Centre under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is looking for an ICU/OT Technician to be placed on contract through A-1 Facility and Property Managers Pvt. Ltd. The position is based at TMC-ACTREC, Sector-22, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. This is a 6-month contract that can be extended based on performance and requirement. The candidate must be willing to work in shift duties including night shifts, Sundays, and Holidays.

Who Can Apply?

There are three ways you can be eligible for this post:

Option 1 (Diploma Route)

• Qualification: B.Sc. with minimum 55% marks AND a one-year certificate or diploma course in ICU / OT Technician / Respiratory Therapy Technician
• Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year of work experience as ICU/OT Technician (desirable)

Option 2 (Bachelor's in Paramedical)

• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Paramedical Technology – OT Techniques OR Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent, with minimum 55% marks
• Experience: One year of work experience as OT / ICU Technician (desirable)

Option 3 (B.Sc. + Experience)

• Qualification: B.Sc. with minimum 55% marks
• Experience: One year of work experience as ICU/OT Technician in a reputed hospital (mandatory for this option)

Additional Requirements

• You must hold a valid Maharashtra Paramedical Council Registration certificate
• You must be willing to work in shift duties including night shifts, Sundays, and public Holidays

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 33 years
• Age may be relaxed based on working experience

Salary

• Consolidated salary of Rs. 25,510 to Rs. 35,000 per month
• Salary depends on your experience over and above the minimum eligibility criteria
• This is a contract position — salary is consolidated (no separate allowances)

Selection Process

Important Dates

• Assist doctors and anaesthesiologists in ICU and operation theatre procedures
• Set up, operate, and maintain ICU and OT equipment including ventilators, monitors, and anaesthesia machines
• Monitor vital signs of patients in the ICU and alert medical staff to any changes
• Prepare the operation theatre before each surgery and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready
• Work in rotation shifts including night shifts, Sundays, and public holidays as required
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, patient data, and shift handover notes
• Follow hospital infection control protocols and safety standards at all times
• Assist in emergency procedures and respond quickly to critical patient situations
