UKMSSB Health Worker Female ANM Recruitment 2026 - 335 Posts

Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board (UKMSSB) has released a revised notification (Advertisement No. dated 15 April 2026) for 335 Group C Health Worker (Female) posts in the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department, Uttarakhand. This revised notification updates an earlier advertisement for 180 posts (November 2025) — the total has now been increased to 335. There is no written exam — selection is based purely on marks obtained in the ANM Training Course. Postings will be district-wise across all 13 districts of Uttarakhand.

Note: All 335 posts are reserved for female candidates. PwD (Divyangjan) reservation has not been applied to these posts as per government notification.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have successfully completed the Basic Health Worker Female (ANM) Training Course as prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi. This includes 6 months of midwifery training.
• You must hold a valid and renewed registration certificate with the Uttarakhand Nurses and Midwives Council, Dehradun, valid up to the last date of online application (04 May 2026). Registration certificates issued after the application closing date will not be accepted.

Preferential Qualification

• Candidates with at least 2 years of service in the Pradeshik Sena (Territorial Army) will get preference in selection if marks are equal.
• Candidates who have obtained the NCC 'B' Certificate will also get preference.

Other Requirements

• Domicile: You must be a permanent resident / domicile of Uttarakhand.
• Nationality: You must be a citizen of India (or eligible category as per government rules).
• Gender: Only female candidates can apply — these posts are 100% reserved for women.
• If you are currently in government service, you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your department.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 42 years old as on 01 July 2025.
• SC/ST/OBC (Uttarakhand residents): Upper age relaxation of 5 years (up to 47 years).
• Freedom Fighter Dependents: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Uttarakhand government rules. Ex-servicemen from Uttarakhand get relaxation by subtracting actual military service from age.
• Note: PwD (Divyangjan) reservation/age relaxation has not been provided for these posts.

Salary

• Pay Level-3 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month (Pay Matrix).
• Original Pay Band: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5,200-20,200) with Grade Pay Rs. 2,000.
• Plus DA, HRA, TA, and other allowances as per Uttarakhand Government rules.
• This is a permanent government post with pension benefits.

Note: Uttarakhand Ex-Servicemen candidates must pay the fee applicable to their respective category. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination for this recruitment. Selection will be made in the following stages:

1. Merit List Based on ANM Training Course Marks: The board will prepare a district-wise merit list based on the total marks obtained by you in the ANM Training Course (all semesters/years combined). If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate ranks higher. If age is also the same, alphabetical order (English) is used.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification, tentatively scheduled in May-June 2026. You must bring all original certificates at this stage.

Important: If you had previously applied for the earlier advertisement (180 posts, November 2025), you do not need to apply again. However, you may make corrections to your application between 06 May 2026 and 09 May 2026.

3. Find the "Health Worker (FEMALE) Examination-2025" link and click "Click Here".
4. Register yourself using a valid email ID and mobile number.
5. Fill in the online application form carefully as per the notification.
6. Upload your scanned photograph (max 50 KB, JPG) and signature (max 50 KB, JPG).
7. Upload a combined PDF of required documents (High School Certificate, Intermediate Certificate, ANM Mark Sheet, ANM Passing Certificate, Nursing Council Registration, category certificates if applicable).
8. Pay the application fee online via Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card before 4 May 2026 by 5:00 PM.
9. Submit the form and save the application printout for your records.
10. If you need to make corrections, log in again between 06 May 2026 to 09 May 2026 using your registration number and password.

Note: Offline or hard copy applications will not be accepted. Incomplete applications will be rejected.

• Handle primary healthcare and maternal child health services at the assigned sub-centre or health unit
• Assist in antenatal check-ups, postnatal care, and deliveries as per protocols
• Manage immunization and vaccination under the National Health Mission programs
• Maintain health records, registers, and reports of beneficiaries in the assigned area
• Prepare community awareness sessions on family planning, nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Monitor high-risk pregnant women and refer sick newborns to higher health facilities
• Work on outreach activities, health camps, and national health program implementation
• Follow prescribed protocols and guidelines of the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department
