AAI Quality Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

Airports Authority of India (AAI) is hiring a Quality Manager/Compliance Monitoring Manager for its Flight Inspection Unit at Safdarjung Airport, New Delhi. The unit operates aircraft that check navigation and landing facilities from the air, using automated inspection equipment. This is a full-time contract assignment linked to AAI’s Non-Scheduled Operator Permit (NSOP), issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: Your initial engagement lasts three years. It may continue for a further two years if your performance is satisfactory and both you and AAI agree to the extension.
• Exclusive assignment: You cannot take another assignment during the contract. Consider this restriction carefully if you already have consulting or other professional commitments.
• Attendance: You must record attendance each working day using the biometric or manual system at your reporting location, in line with the local arrangements for AAI employees.
• Leave: The contract allows 15 days of leave per calendar year on a proportionate basis. Unused leave cannot move into the next year or be exchanged for payment at the end of the engagement.
• Absence: Unauthorised absence results in proportionate deductions. AAI may end the contract if absence beyond your permitted leave exceeds 15 days in a calendar year.
• Written agreement: You and AAI will sign an agreement setting out the work, expected outputs, facilities and other engagement terms. The agreement binds both parties.
• Ending the contract: AAI may terminate the engagement with one month’s notice or payment instead. Unsatisfactory work, missed milestones, false information or integrity concerns can also lead to termination.
• Provisional candidature: Being shortlisted does not remove the need to meet every stated condition. AAI can reject an application if a later check shows that the requirements were not met.
• Recruitment changes: AAI may change its requirements or cancel the recruitment. Trying to influence the decision through canvassing leads to disqualification.
• Travel for interview: You must attend in person at your own expense. AAI will not reimburse travel or daily expenses for attending the interview.
