Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV), Rahuri has released notification number RCSM GACK/ACD/Notification/Contra. Lec./19/2026 dated 13 May 2026 for 13 Assistant Professor posts across six disciplines at the Rajarshee Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Govt. College of Agriculture, Kolhapur (RCSM GACK). The appointments are purely temporary and contractual for a maximum of 11 months for day-to-day academic work. Freshers with Ph.D. or Master's degree plus NET / SET / ICAR / UGC / CSIR qualification can apply.

Salary

• Consolidated fixed pay of Rs. 45,000 per month
• Engagement is for a minimum of 11 months from the date of appointment
• No other allowances - this is a flat consolidated pay

Selection Process

Selection happens in these stages:

1. Scrutiny of Applications - based on the prescribed proforma and supporting documents
2. Shortlisting on Academic Merit using a 50-mark scoring sheet covering Graduation (5), Post-graduation (5), Ph.D. (10), NET with JRF / NET / SET (max 7), Research Publications (max 10 - 2 marks each), Teaching / Research / Extension experience (max 10), Awards (max 3)
3. Personal Interview by the Selection Committee approved by the University
4. Document Verification - candidates must produce all original documents at the time of interview

Eligible candidates have to attend the interview on their own cost - no TA/DA will be paid.

2. Fill the application on plain paper as per the prescribed proforma with all personal, educational, and experience details
3. Pay the Rs. 500 application fee online to the Comptroller, MPKV account and keep the receipt
4. Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, NET/SET certificates, experience certificates, publications, and the fee receipt
