Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) Guwahati, an institute of the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT), New Delhi under the Ministry of Cooperation, has released a recruitment notice for 2 Lecturer posts on contract basis. One post is for the subject of MBA / Agriculture M.Sc. and the other is for Computer Science. The selection is interview-based and there is no written exam. Postgraduates with NET or SLET and 5 years of teaching experience in the cooperative field can apply.

Who Can Apply?

For Lecturer (MBA / Agriculture M.Sc.):

• Qualification: MBA or M.Sc. in Agriculture with a minimum of 55% marks
• NET or SLET: Required
• Desirable: Ph.D.

For Lecturer (Computer Science):

• Qualification: M.Sc. (IT) or MCA or M.Tech in Computer Science with a minimum of 55% marks
• NET or SLET: Required
• Desirable: Ph.D.

Experience (Both Posts):

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a University, College, or Training Institute in the field of Cooperative, after Post Graduation or equivalent degree.

Salary

• Starting salary: Rs. 40,000 per month or the last pay drawn (whichever is higher)
• Salary range: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month
• The contract is for 3 years and can be extended for another 2 years based on performance
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process

Selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Application Scrutiny: All applications will be checked for eligibility. Incomplete or defective applications will be rejected.
2. Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview.
3. Interview: Final selection is based on interview performance.

There is no written exam for this recruitment.
