Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI), a Mini Ratna-I Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for engagement of Graduate and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1992. MIDHANI is a high-tech metallurgical industry that makes super alloys, special steels and titanium alloys for Defence, Space, Atomic Energy and commercial sectors. Selection is purely merit-based — there is no written test, only a merit list drawn from your SSC (30%) and graduation/diploma marks (70%).

Graduate Apprentices (GATs) - 23 Posts

• Metallurgy: 12 posts (UR-5, EWS-1, OBC-3, SC-2, ST-1)
• Mechanical: 6 posts (UR-1, EWS-1, OBC-2, SC-1, ST-1)
• Civil: 3 posts (UR-1, SC-1, OBC-1)
• Electrical / EEE: 1 post (EWS-1)
• Electronics & Communication / IT: 1 post (OBC-1)

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TATs) - 20 Posts

• Metallurgy: 8 posts (UR-3, EWS-1, OBC-2, SC-1, ST-1)
• Mechanical: 7 posts (UR-3, EWS-1, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-1)
• Electrical / EEE: 5 posts (UR-3, OBC-1, SC-1)

Who Can Apply?

For Graduate Apprentices (GATs):

• You must have a B.E. / B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a recognised university, or from an institution empowered to grant such degrees by an Act of Parliament.
• You should have passed out in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.

For Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TATs):

• You must have a Diploma in Engineering or Technology in the relevant discipline from a State Council/Board of Technical Education, or from a university.
• You should have passed out in 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.

Important Restriction:

• If you have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, you cannot apply.
• If you have 1 year or more work experience, you are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Age limit is as per the Apprenticeship Rules.
• Reservation benefits for EWS / OBC / SC / ST / PwD are followed as per government guidelines. You must produce the certificate in the standard government format, or your claim will be considered under General category.

Salary (Monthly Stipend)

• Graduate Apprentices (GATs): Rs. 12,300 per month
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TATs): Rs. 10,900 per month
• No TA / DA, boarding or lodging expenses will be paid.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is fully merit-based:

1. Merit List: Drawn from SSC marks (30% weightage) + Graduation / Diploma in Engineering marks (70% weightage) against the reservation categories.
2. Certificate Verification: Final selection is subject to verification of Age, Qualification, Category and Aadhaar certificates.
3. Police Verification and Medical Fitness are mandatory before joining.

How to Apply

1. Register on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in — go to Student → Register → Enroll and complete the enrollment form. A unique NATS Enrollment Number will be generated.
2. Wait at least one day for BOAT (SR) to verify your enrollment.
3. Log in to the NATS portal, open Establishment Request Menu, click Find Establishment, upload your resume.
4. Search the establishment name as ‘MISHRA DHATU NIGAM LIMITED’ and click Apply.
5. Send the printed Application form with all supporting documents (NATS Enrollment Number, Age, Qualification, Category and Aadhaar) by registered post or courier to:

• Maintain daily training logs and progress reports as required by the Training & Development Department
• Participate in technical workshops, on-the-job projects and rotational learning across departments
• Follow MIDHANI's discipline, attendance and confidentiality norms during the training period
