Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a Schedule-A Miniratna Category-I CPSE under the Ministry of Mines, is hiring 70 Executives in grades E2, E3 and E4. The breakdown is E2 (Deputy Manager): 38 posts, E3 (Manager): 16 posts and E4 (Senior Manager): 16 posts. 5 posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs). - Mining (E2): Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering. Preference: First Class Mine Manager Certificate (Unrestricted) under MMR.
- Mining (E4): Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering + First Class Mine Manager Certificate (Unrestricted) under MMR — essential.
- Geology: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc) in Geology or Applied Geology.
- Environment Management: B.E./B.Tech in Environmental Engineering OR Engineering degree + PG degree/diploma in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Management / Environmental Science.
- Safety & Fire Services: B.E./B.Tech (any engineering) + PG Degree/Diploma in Safety Engineering Management, OR B.Tech in Safety/Fire Engineering.
- Concentrator: B.E./B.Tech in Mineral & Metallurgical Engineering or Mineral Engineering.
- Electrical: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (Electrical).
- Instrumentation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication.
- Mechanical: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mining Machinery.
- Civil: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Systems: Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Technology (IT / Computer Science) or MCA. Preference: Knowledge of Oracle EBS R12, SQL, Java, .Net, network setup.
- Medical & Health Services: MBBS + PG Diploma OR MBBS + MS/MD/DNB. (Vacancies include 1 Gynaecologist and 1 Orthopaedician specialist.)
- HR: Bachelor's degree (Arts/Commerce/Science/Engineering/Professional studies) + MBA in HR / PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management or Social Work.
- Finance: Final exam pass of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA/CMA).
- Corporate Communication: Bachelor's degree + PG Degree/Diploma in Public Relations / Journalism.
- Materials & Contracts: Bachelor's degree + PG Degree/Diploma in Materials Management / Supply Chain Management / Logistics OR MBA with specialisation in Materials/Supply Chain Management.
For PSU/Government applicants, you must have at least 2 years of service in the pay scale immediately below the advertised grade and required post-qualification experience as per the experience table.
Age Limit
- Maximum age (as on 01 May 2026):
- E2 (Deputy Manager): 40 years (with 3 years post-qualification experience)
- E3 (Manager): 42 years (with 6 years post-qualification experience)
- E4 (Senior Manager): 47 years (with 9 years post-qualification experience)
- Medical & Health (E3): max 44 years; Medical & Health (E4): max 48 years.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST — 5 years, OBC (NCL) — 3 years, PwD-General/EWS — 10 years, PwD-OBC — 13 years, PwD-SC/ST — 15 years, Ex-Servicemen — 5 years.
- No maximum age limit for internal HCL employees who meet the eligibility conditions.
Salary
- E2 (Deputy Manager): Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 per month (IDA scale). Estimated monthly gross: Rs. 93,400. Annual CTC: Rs. 17.76 - 55.07 lakh (Mining) / Rs. 16.85 - 51.58 lakh (Non-Mining).
- E3 (Manager): Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 per month (IDA scale). Estimated monthly gross: Rs. 1,12,080. Annual CTC: Rs. 21.20 - 61.90 lakh (Mining) / Rs. 20.11 - 57.98 lakh (Non-Mining).
- E4 (Senior Manager): Rs. 70,000 - 2,00,000 per month (IDA scale). Estimated monthly gross: Rs. 1,30,760. Annual CTC: Rs. 24.64 - 68.74 lakh (Mining) / Rs. 23.23 - 64.37 lakh (Non-Mining).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
Selection is based purely on Personal Interview (100% weightage):
- Shortlisting: Candidates are shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio per post (or 1:10 if only one post in that discipline) based on qualifications and experience.
- Personal Interview: Carries 100% weightage. Tie-breaking criteria: 1 mark per extra year of relevant experience, 1 mark per extra higher qualification (max 2 marks), then company turnover.
- Document Verification: Original documents must be produced at the time of interview — birth proof, 10th/12th certificates, degree marksheets, experience certificates, NOC (for PSU/govt candidates), caste certificate, PwD certificate.
Service Bond: Selected candidates must serve HCL for a minimum of 3 years and execute a service bond of Rs. 3,00,000 at the time of joining.

Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise mining, mineral processing, or engineering operations at HCL's copper units
- Lead discipline-specific teams across grades E2, E3 and E4 as Deputy Manager, Manager or Senior Manager
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations such as Metalliferous Mines Regulations, environment norms and safety standards
- Monitor production targets, equipment performance, and cost optimisation in your area of work
- Manage projects, contracts, materials and vendor relations as per discipline
- Prepare technical reports, maintain records, and report performance to senior management
- Coordinate with statutory authorities, auditors and inspecting officers for periodic checks
- Participate in capacity building, training of subordinates, and process improvement initiatives

First Class Mine Manager Certificate (Unrestricted) under Metalliferous Mines Regulations for Mining posts. Higher qualifications in the relevant discipline carry tie-breaking marks (1 mark per extra qualification, max 2).
