The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is hiring 1 Accountant at its Head Office, New Delhi on a deputation basis (Foreign Service terms). This post is for serving government officers only — private candidates cannot apply. The pay is in Pay Matrix Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300). Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) Accountant Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), set up under the Aadhaar Act, 2016, has invited applications to fill 1 post of Accountant at its Head Office in New Delhi on deputation. Only officers already working in Central, State, UT, PSU, or Autonomous bodies can apply — this is not a fresh recruitment for the open public. The deputation period is five years. The original closing date of 02 April 2026 has now been extended.

Who Can Apply?

This post is for serving officers on deputation. You can apply if you meet any one of the following:

• Central Government officers holding analogous posts on a regular basis, OR with 3 years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 - Rs. 81,100), OR with 5 years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-3 (Rs. 21,700 - Rs. 69,100).
• State / UT Government / PSU / Autonomous Organisation officers holding regular posts in corresponding grades with the required experience.

Educational and Experience Requirement

• You must be a Graduate in Commerce, OR a Graduate in any stream with 3 years of experience in account-related work in government organisations.
• Only officers who have completed at least five years of government service may apply.
• Minimum residual service should be 3 years as on the closing date.
• Basic computer skills for working in an office environment are desirable.

Age Limit

• You must be below 56 years of age as on the closing date for the application.

Salary

• The post carries Pay Matrix Level-5: Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month (7th Central Pay Commission).
• Pay, allowances, joining time, and other benefits will be as per UIDAI regulations and DoPT deputation rules.

Selection Process

This is a deputation post, so there is no written exam:

1. Application through proper channel: Your parent organisation must forward your application along with cadre clearance.
2. Document Verification: Your ACRs/APARs for the last five years, vigilance clearance, and integrity certificate will be checked.
3. Selection by UIDAI: Eligible candidates will be considered as per DoPT deputation guidelines.

1. Fill the application form given in Annexure I of the official circular.
2. Get your application forwarded through proper channel by your parent organisation, with the forwarding certificate (Annexure II).
3. Attach cadre clearance, vigilance clearance, integrity certificate, and attested ACRs/APARs of the last five years.

Candidates who already applied against the original circular dated 02 February 2026 do not need to apply again.
