TiHAN-IITH JRAF 6G Communications Recruitment 2026: Overview

NMICPS TiHAN Foundation, IIT Hyderabad (TiHAN-IITH) is recruiting a Junior Research Assistant Fellow for 6G Communications for on-site work at the IIT Hyderabad campus. The role sits at the meeting point of advanced wireless communication, radio-access networks and practical software development. You would contribute to research, design and development for next-generation communication systems rather than handle a general support assignment. The technical focus reaches from radio algorithms to network performance, which makes this useful for an early-career engineer who wants exposure to a complete experimental 5G and 6G stack.

Your work would start with the foundations of digital and wireless communication and extend into 5G New Radio physical and medium-access-control layers.
