NMICPS TiHAN Foundation, IIT Hyderabad (TiHAN-IITH) is hiring a Senior Research Assistant Fellow for 6G Communications at its autonomous-navigation technology hub. • 5G NR and O-RAN: The core research setting uses 5G New Radio physical and MAC layers together with O-RAN architecture and frame structures. You will need to connect implementation choices with the relevant 3GPP 38-series specifications.
• PHY and MAC Procedures: This stream covers OFDM, modulation and coding schemes, scheduling, and HARQ. The focus is on designing, implementing, and studying radio-access procedures rather than treating the stack as a closed product.
