Post-wise Duties

Professor

You will guide the department's academic plan, coordinate undergraduate medical teaching, supervise clinical or laboratory work and help the Dean maintain National Medical Commission standards.

Associate Professor

You will lead regular teaching sessions, supervise residents and junior faculty, support patient-care services in clinical departments and contribute to research and assessment work.

Assistant Professor

You will deliver lectures, practicals and bedside teaching, keep academic records and assist with day-to-day departmental and hospital work assigned by the Dean.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the engagement lasts for the notified fixed term or until a regular or bonded teacher becomes available, whichever happens first.
• No regular-service claim: the contract does not create a right to regular appointment, and the service period does not count automatically for other government-service benefits.
• Academic-session commitment: an appointee must complete at least one academic session and give the required undertaking before joining.
• Professional practice: private medical practice may be allowed only when it does not affect college and hospital duties.
• Conduct and confidentiality: serious misconduct, unsatisfactory work or misuse of official information can lead to the contract ending without advance notice.
• Travel: you must attend the walk-in at your own cost; no travel support is promised for the interview.
