Who Can Apply?

For Working Professionals:

Nature of Work

As a Consultant-A, you will:

• Assist the office in all Forestry and Environment related work
• Compile, collect, and manage data for the office
• Prepare monthly and yearly reports covering Forest Clearance, Environment Clearance, and compensatory afforestation
• Prepare and manage meetings related to forest diversion proposals
• Handle other miscellaneous functions such as preparing action plans and submitting files for site inspections
• Take up any other work assigned to you by the office

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for Consultant-A is 65 years.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 60,000 per month.
• No additional allowances — such as Dearness Allowance, Residential Telephone, Residential Accommodation, Personal Staff, CGHS, or Medical Reimbursement — are payable.
• You get paid leave of 1.5 days for every completed month of service, calculated on a pro-rata basis from your date of joining. Unavailed leave from one year cannot be carried forward to the next.
• You will not draw any remuneration for absence beyond 18 days in a year, calculated on a pro-rata basis.

Selection Process

Selection for Consultant-A will happen in the following stages:

1. Screening and Shortlisting: MoEF&CC, SRO-Jaipur will scrutinize applications based on essential and desirable qualifications and experience, following the Ministry's Consultancy guidelines.
2. Interview: MoEF&CC, SRO-Jaipur reserves the right to call any number of applicants for an interview based on your qualifications and experience.
3. Recommendation: MoEF&CC, RO-Gandhinagar will place a proposal before the Consultancy Evaluation Committee (CEC), which will recommend the selected candidate along with one reserve candidate for each post.
