Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial tenure: The engagement begins for one year. IIT Madras may extend it according to performance and continuing need.
• Contract status: Finishing the term does not give you a right to extension, regularisation or a permanent institute post.
• Work location: The role belongs to the Office of IC&SR at IIT Madras, Chennai, where it supports project purchases and related administration.
• Procurement focus: You will deal with scientific goods and services, so accuracy, integrity and compliance with GFR and institute policy are central to the work.
