Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is conducting walk-in selection for Engineering Graduate Apprentice Training 2026 at its Technical Training Institute, Bengaluru. If you have a BE/B.Tech degree in one of the listed engineering streams, you can attend the walk-in between 22 June and 26 June 2026. The apprenticeship training period is one year under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). Selected apprentices will get a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,300.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed a BE/B.Tech engineering degree in the relevant stream.
• University recognition: Your graduation must be from a recognised university in India.
• Passing date: You should have obtained the engineering degree on or after 01 August 2021.
• NATS rule: You should not have already undergone, be undergoing, or already registered a NATS contract under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere.
• Experience rule: Candidates with one year or more work experience are not eligible.

Check your stream date carefully before travelling. Each engineering group has a separate walk-in date, and the reporting time is the same for all groups. If your marks are in GPA or CGPA, carry the university rule for converting GPA/CGPA to percentage.

Stipend

• Monthly stipend: Rs. 12,300 for 12 months of apprenticeship training.
• Government share: 50% of the stipend amount will be borne by the Government as per existing guidelines.
• Facility: Subsidized canteen facility is available.

Application Fee

• No application fee is mentioned in the official notification.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the walk-in selection.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

The selection is based on merit, first come first served reporting, document verification, and available slots. The notification does not mention a written exam.

1. NATS Registration: Register as a student on the apprenticeship portal and carry the registration form copy.
2. Walk-in Reporting: Report at HAL Technical Training Institute, Bengaluru between 08:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the date fixed for your stream.
3. Document Verification: HAL will check original certificates, one self-attested photocopy set, NATS details, and category/PwD certificates where applicable.
4. Merit and Slot Availability: Final selection depends on merit, reporting order, and available apprenticeship vacancies.

How to Apply

1. Register as a Student on the NATS portal mentioned in the notice: www.mhrdnats.gov.in.
2. Take a printout or copy of your NATS registration form.
3. Collect your original certificates, one self-attested photocopy set, and two passport-size colour photographs.
4. Check the walk-in date for your engineering stream.
5. Attend the walk-in at Technical Training Institute, Suranjan Das Road, Bengaluru - 560017.
6. Report between 08:00 AM and 11:00 AM on your stream date.
