DU Project Associate I Recruitment 2026: Overview

Dibrugarh University (DU) is recruiting a Project Associate I for a research project in its Department of Petroleum Technology in Assam. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) funds the work through its Research Promotion Scheme (RPS). Your engagement would be contractual and tied to this research project.

The project connects coal-mine overburden with oilfield infrastructure. It looks at using overburden from the open-cast mines of Northeastern Coalfields at Margherita, part of Coal India Limited, for drill sites and approach roads in Upper Assam oilfields.

Prof. Pradip Borgohain of the Department of Petroleum Technology at DU leads the project. Prof. Sarat Phukan from the Department of Geological Sciences at Gauhati University is the co-principal investigator, bringing another Assam university into the research team.

Service Conditions and Caveats
