IIFT CTIL Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has announced contract openings for Young Professionals, Associates and a Consultant at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), within the Centre for Research on International Trade (CRIT). Based in New Delhi, CTIL provides legal and technical advice on international trade and investment matters to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and other agencies. Its work covers World Trade Organization (WTO) rules, free trade agreements and international economic law.
Posts and Disciplines
- Young Professional: The notice provides separate application routes for applicants with prior experience and those without it. Both routes fall within the Young Professional posts advertised in this recruitment.
- Associate: This role is part of the same legal team working on trade and investment issues. You would join a centre that supports government work on multilateral and bilateral agreements.
- Consultant: The notice has separate routes for applicants with and without a PhD. Its detailed criteria also refer to these categories as Senior Research Fellow with or without a PhD, so keep that wording in mind when checking the form.

You need the role-specific degree, academic record and experience listed in the notice. The fresh Young Professional route accepts an LLB or a specified relevant master's from an institution meeting the ranking condition. Other routes need a relevant master's, at least 55% at bachelor's and master's levels, and the required experience.
Choose your correct role-specific form. Only applications through these notice-prescribed links are accepted.
Monthly pay is Rs. 50,000 for Young Professionals without experience, Rs. 60,000 for those with experience and Rs. 80,000-1,45,000 for Associates. Consultant pay is Rs. 1,45,000-2,65,000 with PhD or Rs. 1,37,500-2,65,000 without PhD.
