DU Project Associate I CSE Recruitment 2026: Overview
Dibrugarh University (DU) is recruiting a Project Associate-I for its Department of Computer Science and Engineering at DUIET in Assam. The appointment supports EdgeSemCom, a project funded through the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Research Promotion Scheme (RPS). Its focus is a semantic communication framework for edge-native Internet of Things (IoT) and 6G networks.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Project appointment: This is a temporary research engagement tied to the funded project. The appointment ends with the project; the notice does not offer a continuing university post.
- Initial tenure: Your first appointment is for one year. Any further extension depends on your performance and what the project needs.
- Overall project: The project runs for 36 months. This overall duration is separate from the initial appointment period, so you should not treat it as a guaranteed appointment for the full project.
- Research team: Dr. Moirangthem Tiken Singh is the Principal Investigator and Dr. Rabinder Kumar Prasad is the Co-Principal Investigator, both in the department.
- Travel costs: The university will not provide travel or daily allowance for attending the interview.
Application Submission Notes
The application instructions give tike.m@dibru.ac.in or rkp@dibru.ac.in as the email destinations. The signature block separately prints tiken.m@dibru.ac.in, so the notice contains two different spellings for the Principal Investigator's address.
Check the address before sending: the second application address, rkp@dibru.ac.in, appears in the submission instructions without that spelling conflict. The notice also provides 8133020456 as the Principal Investigator's contact number if you need clarification.
