DFCCIL is looking for 1 AGM/JGM/DGM (Finance) officer at its Corporate Office in Noida, on a deputation basis. If you are a serving IRAS officer, an official of the Accounts Department of Indian Railways, or a Central/State Government or PSU employee in a matching finance grade, you can apply through the proper channel. DFCCIL has issued Vacancy Notice No. 29/2026 for filling 1 post of AGM/JGM/DGM (Finance) at its Corporate Office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on a deputation basis for an initial period of 3 years, extendable to 5 years (subject to exemption from the rule of immediate absorption). Three grade levels are open — AGM, JGM, or DGM — and you will be placed at the level matching your current seniority and pay grade. This role suits finance officers with exposure to commercial and transportation matters of Indian Railways, works matters, tenders, accounting, taxation, loans, funds management, financial concurrence, and budget matters.

This vacancy notice was addressed to General Managers of all Zonal Railways and Production Units, Directors General/Directors of all Railway Training Institutes, and CPSUs, Central and State Government subordinate/attached offices and autonomous bodies audited by the C&AG, as well as joint ventures with at least 50% stake held by the Central Government. If you are working in any of these organizations in a matching finance grade, your application can be forwarded to DFCCIL through your parent department.

Who Can Apply?

For AGM Level:

• Central/State Government officers working in an analogous grade (Level-13A) in the relevant discipline, or
• Officers in Selection Grade (Level-13) with a minimum of 12 years in Group A in the relevant discipline, or
• PSU employees in the Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 (IDA) (E6) grade with 4 years' service in that grade.

For JGM Level:

• Central/State Government officers working in an analogous substantive grade (Level-13) in the relevant discipline, or
• Officers in Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) (Level-12) with 8-12 years' service in Group A in the relevant discipline, or
• PSU employees in the Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (IDA) (E5) grade with 4 years' service in that grade.

For DGM Level:

• Central/State Government officers holding Senior Scale (Level-11) posts with 10 years' service in Group B and holding cadre posts in Level 10 in their parent cadre, or
• PSU employees in the Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 (IDA) (E4) grade with 4 years' service in that grade.

You should preferably have hands-on exposure to Commercial and Transportation matters of Indian Railways, along with works matters, tenders, accounting, taxation, loans, funds management, financial concurrence, and budget matters. DFCCIL will place you at the grade level that matches your current seniority and pay, so make sure you apply for the level you are actually eligible for.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 55 years old.
• The cut-off date for your age and eligibility is the closing date of this vacancy notice, i.e. 12 August 2026.

Salary

• Since this is a deputation post, you will continue to draw your parent pay plus deputation allowance, along with all other perks and allowances applicable as per DFCCIL policy.
• For reference, the equivalent PSU (IDA) pay bands used to judge eligibility are Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 (AGM/E6), Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (JGM/E5), and Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 (DGM/E4).
• The deputation tenure is 3 years, extendable up to 5 years, subject to exemption by the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) from the rule of immediate absorption.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

This is a deputation posting, so there is no written exam. The process works as follows:

1. Application Screening: Your application, forwarded through the proper channel from your parent department, is screened against the eligibility criteria for each grade.
2. Document Verification: Your NOC, APAR ratings for the last 5 years, and Vigilance/D&AR clearance are checked.
3. Selection: DFCCIL selects the eligible and suitable officer based on the documents submitted.

Note: Applications received with incomplete information will be summarily rejected. If any information is later found to be hidden or misrepresented, the selected officer will be repatriated immediately, and no further communication from the parent organization or employee will be entertained.

2. Attach attested APAR ratings for the last 5 years (your organization should also forward its APAR rating criteria/guidelines).
3. Attach a Vigilance/D&AR clearance certificate.
