DFCCIL is looking to fill 1 AGM/JGM (OP&BD) post at its Ahmedabad office on deputation basis. Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) AGM/JGM (OP&BD) Deputation 2026 - 1 Post

DFCCIL has issued Vacancy Notice No. 34/2026 for one post of Assistant General Manager/Joint General Manager (Operations & Business Development) at its Ahmedabad office, to be filled on a deputation basis. The initial tenure is 3 years, extendable up to 5 years, subject to exemption from the immediate absorption rule by the Department of Public Enterprises. DFCCIL is the Miniratna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways that builds and operates India's dedicated freight corridors, and the Ahmedabad posting sits on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC). This vacancy is open only to serving Central/State Government or PSU officers, not to fresh job seekers, and the selected officer will handle train operations planning, freight business development, and coordination between DFCCIL and the DMIDC/AKIDC corridors.

Who Can Apply?

For AGM (OP&BD):

• You should be a Central/State Government officer working in an analogous grade (Level-13A) in the relevant discipline, or in Selection Grade (Level-13) with at least 12 years in Group A in the relevant discipline.
• PSU employees working in the Rs. 90,000-2,40,000 (IDA) (E6) grade with four years' service in that grade can also apply.

For JGM (OP&BD):

• You should be a Central/State Government officer working in an analogous substantive grade (Level-13) in the relevant discipline, or in Junior Administrative Grade (JAG) (Level-12) with 8-12 years' service in Group A in the relevant discipline.
• PSU employees working in an analogous grade in the relevant discipline, or in the Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (IDA) (E5) grade with four years' service, can also apply.

• Preferred Service: IRIS officers with working experience in Operating and Commercial (freight business) roles in the Traffic Department of Indian Railways.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 55 years old.
• Your age and eligibility will be counted as on the closing date of the vacancy notice (10 September 2026).

Salary

• You will draw your parent pay plus deputation allowance, along with all other perks and allowances applicable as per DFCCIL policy.
• The AGM/JGM grade corresponds to Pay Level 13 (Rs. 1,23,100 - Rs. 2,15,900) under the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

DFCCIL will select the officer based on:

1. Screening of Applications: Your application is checked against the AGM or JGM eligibility criteria.
2. Document Verification: Your NOC, attested APAR ratings for the last five years, and vigilance/D&AR clearance are verified.
