Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is hiring 6 Senior Assistant Engineers on a fixed tenure basis for its Panchkula (Haryana) unit. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is a Navratna defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence and one of India's leading professional electronics companies. BEL has released Advt No. 2026-27/06/PK/SAE/003 to fill 6 Senior Assistant Engineer posts in the E-I grade on a fixed tenure basis for 15 years. This is an exclusive opening for Ex-servicemen with an engineering diploma who want a stable second career in a top defence PSU.

• Unreserved (UR): 3 posts
• OBC (NCL): 2 posts
• SC: 1 post

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Diploma in Engineering / Equivalent in Electronics (Pass Class) from a recognised institution.
• Defence Rank: You must be a JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer) from the Army, Navy or Air Force.
• Experience: You must have 15 years of post-qualification experience (as on 1 June 2026).
• Only Indian citizens can apply. Internal BEL fixed tenure executives in service are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years for unreserved candidates (as on 1 June 2026).
• Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL) +3 years, SC +5 years, PwBD +10 years.
• The maximum age including all relaxations is 60 years. Relaxation for Ex-servicemen is as per Government rules.

Salary

• Pay scale: Rs. 30,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,20,000 per month.
• You will also get DA, HRA, Professional Development Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Leave Travel Allowance, Performance Related Pay (PRP), medical facilities and Provident Fund as per BEL rules.

• Ex-servicemen: No fee — Ex-servicemen are exempt from the application fee.

Selection Process

Selection will be done in these stages:

1. Application Screening: Your application will be checked against the eligibility criteria.
2. Written Test (85% weightage): Candidates will be shortlisted for the written test, and then for interview in the ratio of 1:7 based on merit.
3. Interview (15% weightage): You must qualify both the written test and the interview separately.
