Post-wise Duties

Deputy Engineer Electronics

You will support the integration and testing of electronic hardware and system interfaces, study faults, record observations and work with design or production teams to close technical issues. Field or customer-site support may form part of a project assignment.

Deputy Engineer Mechanical

You will work with mechanical drawings, components and assemblies, check fit and function, coordinate fabrication or production inputs and help resolve integration problems. The role needs close coordination with electronics and system teams rather than isolated mechanical work.

Deputy Engineer Computer Science

You will develop, test or maintain software used in naval-system projects, investigate defects and keep code or configuration records current. You may also help integrate software with hardware and support testing in a controlled project environment.

• Tenure: The appointment starts on a five-year fixed term and may be extended by up to two more years based on performance and BEL's requirement. It is not a regular permanent appointment.
