Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna company under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for 5 Havildar (Security) posts at its Pune unit. BEL is described as India's premier Professional Electronics Company, and it regularly hires ex-servicemen for security roles at its various units across the country. This recruitment is open only to ex-servicemen who have completed 15 years of service in the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need SSLC (10th Pass) along with 15 years of service in the Indian Armed Forces.
• Reservation: UR - 1, OBC (NCL) - 1, SC - 1, ST - 1, EWS - 1 (Total 5 posts).
• Category Certificates: SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS candidates must submit their certificates in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority. Income Certificates will not be considered as OBC Certificates.
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
• Currently Serving Candidates: If you are still in service and yet to be discharged, you need to submit documentary proof of your medical category, character and probable date of discharge.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 43 years as on 01 July 2026, applicable to General category candidates.
• Age Relaxation: OBC (NCL) candidates get 3 years relaxation, and SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs. 20,500 to Rs. 79,000 per month under the WG-III/CP-III grade, with a 3% annual increment.
• The approximate CTC is Rs. 6.2 Lakhs per annum, including admissible perks and allowances.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Written Test
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET): Candidates seeking age relaxation must carry original certificates for verification at this stage.
3. Document Verification: Original documents will be checked at this or any subsequent stage of the process.

Documents Required

Keep these documents ready as scanned, self-attested copies before you start your application:

• Recent color passport size photograph
• SSLC mark sheet and any other valid document as proof of date of birth
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS certificate in the prescribed format, if applicable
• No Objection Certificate from your present employer, if you are employed in Govt/Quasi-Govt/PSU
• Experience Certificate and Discharge Certificate issued by the Indian Armed Forces, clearly showing your medical category, date of discharge and service record

• Guard the BEL Pune unit premises and control entry/exit of staff, visitors and vehicles
• Patrol the campus during assigned shifts, including night duty
• Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems installed on the premises
• Check bags, vehicles and materials moving in and out of the unit as per security protocol
• Maintain security logs, visitor registers and incident reports
• Respond promptly to security threats, fire alarms or emergency situations
• Coordinate with local police and other agencies during security incidents
• Enforce access-control rules and report violations to senior security staff
