AIIMS Guwahati has released notification for 64 Faculty posts (Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor). Candidates with MBBS and MD/MS/DNB or super-speciality degree can apply online and by hard copy. Last date to apply online is 23 March 2026. Age limit is up to 50-58 years.

Salary and Allowances
Salary follows the 7th Central Pay Commission (7th CPC) pay matrix. In addition to basic pay, you will get:
- Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) as per central government norms
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Transport Allowance (TA)
Who Can Apply - Qualification
- You must have MBBS degree recognised by the Medical Council of India (now NMC)
- You must also have a postgraduate degree: MD / MS / DNB in the relevant subject
- For super-speciality posts: M.Ch. or D.M. degree is needed
Experience Required
- Professor: At least 14 years of teaching or research experience after postgraduation
- Additional Professor: At least 10 years of experience
- Associate Professor: At least 6 years of experience
- Assistant Professor: At least 3 years of experience
Age Limit
- Professor and Additional Professor: Maximum 58 years
- Associate Professor and Assistant Professor: Maximum 50 years
Note: Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Selection will be done in two stages:
