Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and India's second-largest upstream oil and gas company, has released Advertisement No. HRAQ/CONT-WP-B/26-285 dated 22 July 2026 to fill 5 Contractual Pharmacist and 2 Contractual Paramedical Hospital Technician posts at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam. Both roles are purely contractual and temporary, involving shift-based work, including on-call duty, in OIL's hospital and medical facilities. Who Can Apply?

For Contractual Pharmacist (5 Posts):

• You must have passed 10+2 in Science stream from a Government-recognized Board/University.
• You need a 2-year Diploma Course in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of India and the Pharmacy Council of India.
• You must be registered with the Assam Pharmacy Council and hold a valid professional Pharmacist License.
• You need at least 2 years of post-qualification work experience as a Pharmacist.

For Contractual Paramedical Hospital Technician (2 Posts):

• You must have passed 10+2 in Science stream from a Government-recognized Board/University.
• You need a 2-year Diploma in OT Technology, or Emergency and First Aid Technology, or ICU Technology from a Government-recognized institute/medical college.
• You need at least 2 years of post-qualification relevant work experience.

Domicile: Only candidates domiciled in Assam or Arunachal Pradesh can apply for either post.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 18 years old as on the date of registration for the Walk-in Personal Assessment.
• Contractual Pharmacist: maximum age is 40 years (General), 43 years (OBC-NCL), and 45 years (SC/ST).
• Contractual Paramedical Hospital Technician: maximum age is 40 years (General).

Salary

• Contractual Pharmacist: Fixed emolument of Rs. 24,960 per month, plus a variable emolument of Rs. 960 per day for each day worked.
• Contractual Paramedical Hospital Technician: Fixed emolument of Rs. 21,450 per month, plus a variable emolument of Rs. 825 per day for each day worked.
• Fixed pay is based on your attendance, including paid leave and holidays.

Selection Process

OIL will select candidates through a Walk-in for Personal Assessment carrying 100 marks. You need to score at least 50 marks to qualify, whatever your category.

1. Document Verification: Your information is checked against your original documents at the time of registration.
2. Walk-in Personal Assessment: You are evaluated on professional knowledge and skills in your discipline, allied-discipline knowledge, and personal attributes and soft skills.
3. Final Merit List: Selection is purely merit-based, using the marks you score in the assessment, among candidates who clear the qualifying mark of 50.

The Contractual Pharmacist contract runs for an initial 1 year, extendable by another 1 year, for a maximum of 2 years, depending on your performance and OIL's requirement. The contract can be ended by either side with 15 days' notice, and it does not create any right to regular employment or absorption in Oil India Limited.

2. Download and fill the Personal Bio-Data Form given in the advertisement.
3. Arrange your original documents plus one set of self-attested photocopies — bio-data form, passport-size photo, photo ID and address proof, Class 10th certificate as DOB proof, diploma and pharmacist license/registration documents, and experience certificate(s).
4. Report to Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited, Duliajan, Assam on 7 August 2026 between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM for registration.
5. Appear for the Walk-in Personal Assessment on the same day — late registration is not allowed under any circumstances.

No Travelling Allowance or Daily Allowance will be paid for attending the assessment, so plan your own travel and stay in advance.
