NABFINS Customer Service Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview
NABFINS Limited is hiring Customer Service Officers (CSO) for field-based work in its Direct Lending department across listed locations in Karnataka. The officer is the branch's regular link with Joint Liability Groups, borrowers and new villages, combining business development with day-to-day care of an assigned loan portfolio. You report to the Branch Head and work closely with the Customer Service Executive, Regional Manager and head-office support teams. The job is built around consistent field presence, accurate branch records and clear customer communication.
The role begins with identifying new business locations and suitable customers, but it continues well beyond customer addition. The officer remains connected with each allotted borrower after disbursement and helps the branch see problems early through daily updates. Portfolio quality and transparency are important performance measures, alongside business growth and recovery. You will also interact with bankers and field staff from local bodies or government departments when branch work needs outside coordination.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Field mobility: Extensive travel within Karnataka is mandatory, and the notice says you must have both a motorcycle and a valid driving licence.
- Language use: you must be able to read, write and speak the local language and English for customer, branch and reporting work.
- Cash accountability: money collected from customers must be deposited in the bank on the same day, with collection and remittance entries updated as directed.
- Daily reporting: work data goes to the Branch Head or Customer Service Executive each day, while deviations must be escalated to the relevant branch, regional or head-office officer.
- Portfolio standards: overdue cases, dormant accounts, documentation gaps and process deviations form part of the officer's continuing follow-up.
- Customer awareness: the officer helps customers understand NABFINS processes and the available grievance channels.
- Training and support: you may take part in branch training, mentor junior colleagues and assist with branch administration when directed.
- Changing priorities: the notification allows the role to change with business requirements, so field plans and assigned activities may be revised by head office.
Performance is reviewed through both numbers and work quality. Business growth, disbursement, recovery, overdue or NPA position and repeat loans are financial measures, while group monitoring, initiative and identification of new opportunities form the qualitative side. The job therefore needs disciplined follow-up rather than one-time customer sourcing.
