Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is engaging Labour Welfare Superintendents for its Labour Welfare Department on contract. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: Your initial engagement lasts six months. MCD may extend it in six-month blocks based on need, but it ends earlier if regular recruitment through the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board fills the posts.
• Ending the contract: Either you or MCD can end the agreement with one month’s advance notice. You can also leave by paying one month’s contractual salary instead of serving that notice.
• Paid leave: You receive one day of paid leave each month under this engagement.
• Service benefits: The contract does not provide provident fund, pension, gratuity, medical attendance or treatment, or seniority benefits available to regular MCD staff.
• Regular appointment: Working on this contract does not give you a claim or right to a regular appointment. Any later regular recruitment remains separate from this engagement.
• Posting liability: You can be assigned to any MCD zonal office or its headquarters. The department’s headquarters address is also the address used for receiving applications.
• Joining conditions: No travelling allowance is payable for joining. Other contractual service conditions follow the relevant rules notified from time to time.
• Department’s discretion: MCD may change the number of openings or cancel some or all of them. It also reserves the right to relax qualification, experience or age conditions in exceptional cases.
