Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is hiring Assistant Professors on a short-term contractual basis for the ITEP (Integrated Teacher Education Programme) offered by the Department of Education & Training at its Hyderabad campus. ITEP is the four-year integrated teacher-education degree introduced under the National Education Policy 2020, and MANUU is one of the designated institutes running it — this walk-in adds subject-specific faculty ahead of the new academic session. The drive spans ten subjects across sciences, social sciences and commerce — from Physics and Mathematics to History, Commerce and Management. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Urdu requirement: Working knowledge of Urdu is compulsory for all teaching posts, since Urdu is MANUU's medium of instruction under Section 4 of the University Act.
• Tenure: These are purely temporary, short-term contractual engagements tied to the ITEP programme — not a path to a regular MANUU appointment.
• Posting liability: Selected candidates can be posted at MANUU Headquarters, Hyderabad, or at any other MANUU institution in the country depending on requirement.
• Vacancy count: The number of posts listed is tentative; the University may increase, decrease, or choose not to fill some of them.
• Retired teachers: Retired Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors below 65 years from government-recognised institutions can also apply.
• No TA/DA: Candidates attend the walk-in interview at their own expense.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online form for this drive — walk in directly for the interview with a filled registration form (attached to the notification), your resume, original educational and experience certificates, proof of Urdu knowledge, testimonials, a passport-size photograph, and one set of self-attested photocopies. The interview runs over two days at the Committee Room, University Guest House, MANUU Campus, Gachibowli, Hyderabad — the science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Mathematics) report on the first day and the social science and commerce subjects (History, Economics, Political Science, Commerce, Management) on the second, with reporting between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM depending on the subject.
