Service Conditions and Caveats

• Engagement type: Purely temporary and short-term — the university can extend, reduce or discontinue the post depending on enrolment and funding.

• Posting liability: Once selected, you can be posted at MANUU Headquarters in Hyderabad or at any other institution of the university, not necessarily Varanasi alone.
• NET/SET rule: As per UGC's 2018 Regulations, NET or an accredited SLET/SET remains the baseline eligibility for Assistant Professor posts, though SLET/SET only counts for recruitment within its own state.
