Service Conditions and Caveats

• Special recruitment: This selection is restricted to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates of Kerala. Applications from outside these communities will be rejected without an individual rejection message.
• Ranked-list operation: The list normally remains active for at least one year and up to three years, subject to the publication of a fresh list after the minimum period. It may also be used for further SC/ST special-recruitment needs reported while it is valid.
• Scheduled Tribe vacancies: The list may serve an ST-only opening when no separate ST list is available or a separate selection is not already under way. If the list has no ST candidate, Kerala PSC will issue a fresh ST-only notice.
• Degree recognition: The master's degree must come from a UGC-recognised university, with the course accepted by a university in Kerala. If you rely on an equivalent or higher qualification, keep the relevant government order ready for scrutiny.

• Probation: After joining, you will complete two years of probation within a continuous period of three years.
