KEA Nursing/Pharmacy Officer Recruitment 2026 — 45 Vacancies

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is hiring 45 Nursing and Pharmacy Officers for the Kalyana-Karnataka (Hyderabad-Karnataka, Article 371-J) cadre across the ESI Scheme Medical Services Department and the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS). KEA Nursing Officer & Pharmacy Officer Recruitment 2026 - 45 Posts

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) issued this notification on 6 August 2026 inviting online applications for 45 posts across three designations — Nursing Officer (KREIS), Pharmacy Officer (ESI Scheme) and Nursing Officer (ESI Scheme) — reserved for the Kalyana-Karnataka (Hyderabad-Karnataka) region under Article 371-J. This runs alongside KEA's separate, larger 188-post ESIS recruitment drive. Kannada language proficiency is required for these posts.

Who Can Apply?

For Nursing Officer (KREIS / ESI Scheme):

• Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc Nursing, registered with the Karnataka State Nursing Council

For Pharmacy Officer (ESI Scheme):

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), registered with the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council

• You must have studied Kannada as a language subject, or hold a Kannada language certificate (Kavi/Jaana/Rathna) from the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or Kannada Sahitya Parishath, Bangalore.
• These posts are reserved for candidates from the Kalyana-Karnataka (Hyderabad-Karnataka) region under Article 371-J.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit for these posts is 40 years. Age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per Karnataka Government rules.

Salary

• Nursing Officer (KREIS / ESI Scheme): Rs. 54,175 to Rs. 99,400 per month
• Pharmacy Officer (ESI Scheme): Rs. 44,425 to Rs. 83,700 per month
• You will also get DA, HRA and other allowances as per Karnataka Government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in two stages:

1. Written Exam: Conducted by KEA to shortlist eligible candidates.
2. Document Verification: Your certificates and eligibility documents are checked before final selection.

• Work in shifts, including night duty, as per hospital requirements
• Coordinate with medical staff for patient care and referrals
