Posts and Disciplines

• Cardiology: adult cardiac assessment, inpatient care and support for interventional services.

• Urology: clinical and procedural support for urinary-tract and related surgical cases.

Post-wise Duties

Medical and intervention units

In Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology and Medical Oncology, you will assess patients, discuss investigations with the unit team and support speciality-specific treatment plans. You will also help coordinate referrals where a case needs input from another department.

Surgical units

In Neurosurgery and Urology, you will support pre-operative assessment, procedure-day care and post-operative follow-up. Clear handovers and early reporting of complications are important parts of the work.

Radiation, rehabilitation and critical care

Radiation Oncology residents will help with treatment preparation and review, while PMR residents will focus on functional recovery and rehabilitation goals. Critical Care residents will manage close monitoring, urgent clinical changes and communication with the wider treating team.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract status: Appointments are contractual rather than regular government posts.
• Rolling interviews: Interviews are held on the first and third Monday while positions remain vacant.
