Andaman and Nicobar Islands Khadi and Village Industries Board (ANI KVIB) is filling the Technical Assistant role at Sri Vijaya Puram through a deputation-cum-promotion arrangement. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Recruitment route: The appointment is on deputation (ISTC) plus promotion, so it is not open to applicants seeking a fresh direct-recruitment entry.
• Eligible organisations: Officers serving the Central Government, a State or Union Territory government, an autonomous organisation or a public-sector undertaking may be considered if they meet the notified service and qualification conditions.
• Internal consideration: A Board Supervisor in the feeder grade may be considered alongside outside officers; selection of that employee will be treated as promotion.
• Cadre restriction: Departmental employees already in the direct line of promotion cannot seek the same position on deputation, while a deputation applicant cannot be considered through the promotion route.
• Tenure: The assignment begins for one year and may be extended up to three years according to performance. Prior immediately preceding ex-cadre service is counted when applying the overall deputation limit.
• Work setting: You should be ready for visits to assisted units, public awareness events, committee meetings and coordination with banks and programme offices throughout the island territory.
