The post sits under a research project funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, titled "Investigation of Photo/Electrocatalytic Site-Selective C-H Bond Activation". The project runs over 2026 to 2029 and is led by Dr. Avik Kumar Bagdi, Assistant Professor of Chemistry. If you are a science graduate who enjoys lab work and wants hands-on exposure to modern organic chemistry research, this is a good first step.

- Research setting: You will work directly in the Principal Investigator's lab in the Department of Chemistry, giving you close exposure to how a funded research project is run day to day.
- Nature of post: The position is temporary and ends with the project. It is not a regular university job.
- Fellowship rules: Pay and age conditions follow ANRF norms and the university's own host-institution rules.
- Who gets the edge: A Chemistry background is preferred, and an M.Sc in Chemistry with practical organic synthesis experience counts in your favour.
- Interview call: The interview date will be sent to you only by email, so keep checking your inbox and spam folder.
- Originals: Bring your original certificates, mark sheets and age proof to the interview for checking.
