Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is recruiting a Project Research Scientist I for its Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering. The scientist will join a project focused on producing the humanized monoclonal antibody Ibalizumab and its variants using Pichia pastoris, bringing molecular biology and bioprocess work together in one research assignment. The position is based on the IIT Guwahati campus and works under the project's principal investigator.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The initial engagement is for four months and may be extended if the project and institute requirements continue. This is a project appointment rather than a regular institute post.
• Research setting: Your work will be carried out within the Department of Biosciences and Bioengineering, where the project combines antibody expression, biological processing and cell-culture methods. You should be ready to follow laboratory protocols and maintain a reproducible record of each experiment.
