IIT Ropar is hiring for multiple full-time contractual roles under the MMTTP-GuruSetu project. IIT Ropar GuruSetu Multi-Role Recruitment 2026

Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) has released a project notification for the GuruSetu national faculty empowerment initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India. These roles are purely contractual, initially for one year and extendable based on performance and project continuity. The project aims to support higher education faculty across India through pedagogy, content production, technology, data and operations teams.

Who Can Apply?

Education and Pedagogy Roles

• Program Architect: PhD or Master's degree in Education or a closely related field with academic leadership, curriculum design, faculty development or large-scale program management experience.
• Senior Instructional Designer: PhD or Master's degree in Education or a closely related field with strong curriculum design and faculty-development experience.
• Instructional Designer: Postgraduate degree or pursuing doctorate in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology or a related field, with 2-4 years relevant experience preferred.

Technology, Operations and Media Roles

• Software Developer: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline with CGPA 9.0 or equivalent and 1-4 years software/cloud platform experience.
• Operations Manager/Executive: UG or PG degree in any discipline with operations, project support, documentation and communication skills. Fresh graduates can apply for Operations Executive.
• Content Associate: UG/PG degree, preferably in humanities, education, management or related fields, with 1-2 years experience in content, research, edtech or program management preferred.
• Video Editor: Graduate or postgraduate profile with portfolio, editing tools expertise and 1-4 years professional editing experience.
• Camera Assistant/Attendant: Basic camera and lighting knowledge, production-support experience preferred, and driving skills are desirable because shoots may involve travel.

Salary

• Program Architect: Rs. 20-24 LPA consolidated.
• Senior Instructional Designer: Rs. 14-18 LPA consolidated.
• Instructional Designer, Software Developer and Operations Manager: Rs. 10-12 LPA consolidated.
• Video Editor: Rs. 6-10 LPA consolidated.
• Operations Executive and Content Associate: Rs. 4-6 LPA consolidated.
• Camera Assistant/Attendant: Rs. 2-3 LPA consolidated, based on experience.

Selection Process
