Service Conditions and Caveats

• Research focus: Your work will centre on product and brand management, and the research agenda will be developed with the named faculty mentor.
• Mentoring model: The fellowship expects close collaboration with a resident faculty member while still helping you grow into an independent researcher.
• Tenure: The initial contract runs for one year and may be renewed for a second term. The overall fellowship cannot exceed two years, and renewal depends on the annual performance review.
• Teaching commitment: You must teach at least one four-credit course during each year of the fellowship. A credit represents 6.25 teaching hours, and the course may be at undergraduate, postgraduate elective or doctoral level.
• Publication expectation: The collaboration is expected to produce at least one research article each year in an A-category or higher journal under the ABDC list or an equivalent recognised list.
• Research support: The institute provides a one-time start-up fund for conference participation or computing equipment, along with an incentive for publication in high-quality journals.
• Campus facilities: Discounted campus accommodation may be offered when available. Office space is also subject to availability, while library and internet services are available and the institute bus can be used on a chargeable basis.
• Progress review: IIM Indore may end the fellowship if progress is not satisfactory or the research grant is not used properly. Meeting the stated qualifications does not guarantee an interview.
• Interview travel: The institute will not pay TA or DA for attending any test, interview or related assessment.
• Legal jurisdiction: Any dispute connected with this recruitment will fall under the competent courts in Indore.
