Who Can Apply - Qualification

• SSC/10th Pass: Police Constable, Armed Police, Forest Guard, Matron and most constable posts
• 12th Pass: Platoon Commander, Round Forester
• B.Sc Degree: Range Forest Officer
• PC Driver: 10th pass + valid driving licence + 2 years driving experience
• Constable Greaser/Electrician: 10th pass + ITI + 2 years workshop experience

Age Limit

The age limit varies by post, ranging from 18 to 45 years as on 13 March 2026. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Goa government rules.

Salary

Selected candidates will get salary under the 7th CPC pay structure:

• Level 1 posts: Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 per month
• Level 6 posts: Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month

You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Goa state government norms.

Application Fee

• Level 1 to 3 posts: Rs 200 (General) / Rs 50-100 (Reserved categories)
• Level 4 and above posts: Rs 400 (General) / Rs 100-200 (Reserved categories)

Selection Process

The selection will happen in these stages:

1. CBT-I (Computer Based Test - Screening): 60 marks, 75 minutes
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Physical standards and fitness test
3. CBT-II (Computer Based Test - Merit): 60-80 marks, subject-specific
4. Document Verification
5. Medical Examination

Note: Swimming test is also needed for Greaser, Electrician and Lascar posts.

Important Requirements

• You must have a 15-year Goa residence certificate
• You must know Konkani (it is tested in the exam)
• You must register with the Employment Exchange, Goa
• Physical standards are needed for all posts
• NCC certificate holders get bonus marks for Police posts

• Carry out duties assigned by senior officers
