GSSC Desktop Publishing Operator Recruitment 2026: Overview

Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) is filling Desktop Publishing Operator posts in the Department of Printing and Stationery, Government of Goa through Advertisement No. 3 of Year 2026. This is a Group 'C' regular state government post, so the work is the department's own printing pipeline — page layout, typesetting and press-ready files for government forms, reports and publications, in English as well as in Devnagri.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Goa residence: you need a valid 15-year residence certificate issued by the competent authority in Goa, along with registration at the Employment Exchange, Goa or a valid employment registration card.

• One screening test: if you apply for more than one post in this advertisement, you still sit for a single first-stage batch; if you appear in more than one, only your first attempt counts.
• Placement: the Commission decides which department a selected candidate goes to, and requests for a change of department are not entertained from the candidate or the department.
• Eligibility cut-off: your qualification, experience and every supporting document are judged as they stand on the last date of application.
• Warning: the Commission has said it will take a serious view against candidates who apply without meeting the recruitment rules for the post.
