Who Can Apply?

For Full Time Specialist (FTS) / Part Time Specialist (PTS):

• You need a PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university, and you must be registered with the Medical Council.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years after a PG Degree, OR minimum 5 years in the specialty after a Diploma.

For Senior Resident (SR) and SR against GDMO:

• You need a PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty and registration with the Medical Council. No extra post-qualification experience is asked for these posts.

Age Limit

• For FTS/PTS Specialist posts, you can apply up to 69 years of age.
• For Senior Resident and SR against GDMO posts, the age limit is 45 years as on the date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) get age relaxation for the Senior Resident posts as per government rules.

Salary

• Full Time Specialist (FTS): Rs. 1,35,129 per month, plus Transport Allowance with DA. Contract is for 3 years, renewed annually based on performance.
• Part Time Specialist (PTS): Rs. 60,000 fixed per month, plus Rs. 15,000 for emergency visiting charges and Rs. 800 per call beyond 16 hours a week. Contract is for 1 year.
• Senior Resident (SR): Rs. 1,35,129 fixed per month for PG/Diploma holders (a small deduction applies for Diploma-only candidates), plus transport allowance with DA. Contract is for 3 years.
• SR against GDMO: Rs. 1,31,067 fixed per month, plus transport allowance with DA. Contract is for 1 year.
