DRDO has released a notification for 188 posts including Administrative Officer, Stores Officer, Accounts Officer, Private Secretary and others on deputation basis. DRDO Recruitment 2026 – Administrative and Allied Posts on Deputation Basis
Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has invited applications for 188 posts on deputation/absorption basis. The advertisement number is DOP/AA1/68080/Depu/Cir. This is not a direct recruitment — only serving Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory officers can apply.

Salary / Pay Scale
- Level 7 (AO, SO, AccO, PS): Rs. 44,900 – Rs. 1,42,400/month
- Level 10 (Sr Accounts Officer): Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500/month
- Level 13 (Joint Director, Addl CCE): Rs. 1,23,100 – Rs. 2,15,900/month
DA, HRA, TA as applicable to Central Government employees.
Eligibility
- Serving Central/State/UT Government officers only
- Must hold analogous post or have required service in feeder grade
- Bachelor's Degree required (B.E./B.Tech for Addl CCE post)
- Max age: 56 years as on 28 March 2026

Responsibilities
- Handle administrative, accounts, stores, or secretarial duties as per the assigned post

- Support procurement, inventory, or budget monitoring
- Maintain confidentiality of defence-related information
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university (for most posts). B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Architecture for Additional Chief Civil Engineer post.
Age Limit
18 - 56 years (as on 28 Mar 2026)
Experience
2.0 - 12.0 years
Deputation basis only. Officers must hold analogous post on regular basis or have specified years of service in the feeder grade.
