Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) is selecting a Junior Research Fellow for the ANRF-PAIR project titled Dynamic Research Ecosystem for Advanced Materials (DREAMs). The position sits in the project's third interdisciplinary research group and brings together the Department of Environmental Science and the Department of Chemistry. This is a research-focused, time-bound assignment for someone comfortable working across environmental, chemical and life-science questions rather than inside a single narrow subject. You will work with Dr. Shailesh Kumar Patidar and Dr. Pankaj Gupta on the component identified by the project code APCURAJ 5.

The broader DREAMs programme studies advanced materials through connected themes such as sustainable chemistry, biotechnology, environmental applications and materials research. Your role will support the component's experimental and analytical work, including planning studies with the investigators, keeping reproducible records and turning results into project reports or research outputs. The university is looking for a candidate who can move between literature, laboratory work, data interpretation and collaboration with different departments.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: The fellowship is tied to a funded ANRF-PAIR project and does not create a permanent university post. Continuation depends on project needs, satisfactory work and the availability of funds.
• Project setting: The advertised assignment belongs to a multi-year research programme, so you may need to coordinate with researchers from more than one department and contribute to shared milestones.
