Post-wise Duties

Research Associate

Junior Research Fellow

You will support experiments, maintain reliable observations and work with senior researchers on food-technology or polymer-science studies. Your exact project will depend on the discipline selected by DIBT and the laboratory's current research priorities.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Fellowship status: The award does not create a right to permanent absorption in DRDO.
• Research Associate tenure: The engagement runs for two years.
• JRF tenure: The initial term is two years and may continue into the third and fourth years when performance and project needs support an extension.
• Selection panel: DIBT may keep the interview-based panel active for one year to cover the notified positions and future anticipated needs.
• Government employees: If you work for a government department, PSU or autonomous body, your application must move through the proper channel and you must produce an employer NOC at interview.
• Travel: DIBT will not pay TA or DA for attending the interview or joining the fellowship.
