About This Job

Apply for the Consultant Administration vacancy in CCRYN. Retired government officers with administration experience eligible. Walk-in: 8 Sep 2026.

CCRYN Consultant Administration Recruitment 2026: Overview

Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN), under the Ministry of Ayush, is engaging a Consultant (Administration) at its Janakpuri headquarters in New Delhi. This is a temporary contractual assignment designed for a retired government-sector officer who already understands establishment work, administration, accounts, budgeting and central-office procedure. The role is operational rather than advisory in name alone, because its scope crosses several headquarters functions.

CCRYN's work supports research and institutional activity in yoga and naturopathy. The consultant will bring government-office experience into that setting, helping the Council handle routine administration as well as policy, legislation and specialised matters. Experience at Section Officer or a higher comparable level is central to the profile, and familiarity with autonomous bodies or public-sector organisations also fits the stated eligibility route.

The notice expects a candidate who is comfortable with drafting, noting, budget, accounts and office procedures. It also names parliamentary and Hindi matters, legal questions, IT and media work, and new projects within the consultancy scope. Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint is essential, so the interview may explore how you used these tools in previous administrative assignments.

This opportunity is best suited to someone who can move between rules-based file work and practical coordination. You may need to interpret established procedure, prepare clear internal notes, support financial and establishment processes and respond to issues that span multiple units. Examples from your government service will help demonstrate that breadth more clearly than a general description of seniority.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Temporary contract: The engagement is purely contractual and does not create a claim to a regular CCRYN appointment.
  • Retired-officer route: The eligibility is framed for retired officers from Central or State Government, attached or subordinate offices, Government of India autonomous bodies or PSUs.
  • Travel for interview: CCRYN will not pay TA or DA to attend the walk-in.
  • Official updates: Any addendum or corrigendum will appear only on the Council's website, so check it before travelling.

Application Submission Notes

Attend the walk-in at CCRYN, 61-65 Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi 110058. The process begins at 10:00 AM, and the notice says applications will not be accepted after 12:00 noon. Plan enough travel time to complete entry and document checking within that window.

Fill the attached form in capital letters and sign every page. Affix a recent passport-size photograph and carry the supporting certificates you list in the form, including records that establish your past post and administrative experience. Keep self-attested copies ready so the Council can retain the application set while checking your originals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate parliamentary and Hindi-related administrative matters
