Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) is hiring a Finance Manager for its Research Park at the Hyderabad Campus. The role sits where infrastructure projects, procurement, contracts and institutional finance meet, giving you responsibility for the commercial and financial control of Research Park projects and facilities. This is a hands-on project-finance position, with close coordination across technical teams, contractors, vendors, Central Accounts and internal project stakeholders.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Appointment term: the position carries a three-year term, with renewal based on a satisfactory review against the goals set for the role.
• Reporting: you will report to the Head of Finance and Commercials for BITS Mumbai Campus and BITS Projects while working closely with the Project Head - Vistaar and other stakeholders.
• Campus location: this is a full-time, on-campus role at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus, where the Research Park projects and facilities are managed.
• Commercial responsibility: contract terms must be monitored from award through closure, including final bills, retention amounts, recoveries, claims and unresolved financial matters.
• Financial control: you will need to flag cost overruns and other risks early, recommend corrective action and keep spending aligned with approved project budgets.
• Compliance and audit: project records must support tax and statutory obligations as well as internal, statutory and project audits. Audit observations need timely evidence and closure.
