Exam Pattern
You will take a single-level objective computer-based recruitment test (CBRT). No screening test will be held, regardless of the number of applications.
Qualifying Language Test
The SSC-standard language test has 100 questions for 100 marks in 100 minutes. General English and General Telugu carry 50 marks each, and you must qualify in each language separately.
Subject Papers
- Paper I: General Studies and Mental Ability: 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes.
- Paper II: Horticulture I: 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes.
- Paper III: Horticulture II: 150 questions, 150 marks, 150 minutes.
- Merit papers total: 450 marks, excluding the qualifying language test.
Negative marking: Each wrong answer loses 1/3 of the marks assigned to that question. APPSC may normalise marks if the examination runs across multiple sessions.
Computer Proficiency Test
The practical test covers office automation using computers and associated software. You get 60 minutes for 100 marks; minimum qualifying marks are 30 for SC/ST, 35 for BC and 40 for OC.
